    For asset owners and sellers

CESS can manage a controlled sale process from initial value assessment through to commercial completion. The exact scope depends on the asset, ownership position, timetable and required level of market exposure.

    Typical work includes:

    • Initial market appraisal and recommended sale strategy.
    • Review of the asset schedule, technical records and sale perimeter.
    • Preparation of an information memorandum and structured data room.
    • Targeted contact with relevant end users and approved counterparties.
    • Buyer qualification and management of confidentiality requirements.
    • Coordination of site visits, technical questions and vendor responses.
    • Bid comparison, negotiation support and transaction coordination.
    • Liaison on dismantling, preservation, logistics and handover where required.

The process is intended to produce competitive, properly informed offers while protecting confidentiality and asset value.

    For buyers and project developers

CESS can search for equipment against a defined technical and commercial requirement, review available information and coordinate engagement with the owner or authorised representative.

The initial requirement should identify the target technology, output, frequency, fuel, emissions requirements, configuration, location, delivery timetable and budget basis. For confidential opportunities, owners may require confirmation of the intended end user, contracting entity, project standing and evidence of funding before information is released.

    Controlled disclosure
Uncontrolled circulation and repeated relisting can damage a sale process. CESS therefore records the parties approached, applies the owner’s disclosure conditions and releases sensitive information only at the appropriate stage.
